  • Why did you start teaching?

    My graduate nursing degree and MBA were completed in the online environment as well as my Doctor of Health Administration. I can appreciate the unique challenges, as well as satisfaction, experienced by fellow learners in the online environment while balancing life, work and higher education.

  • What advice would you give to those considering this online program?

    NKU offers an excellent online learning environment with dedicated and responsive faculty. Content is current and the faculty assist in the translation to actual practice in the courses creating a meaningful application to current practice.

  • What do you want students in your courses to learn? What is the learning outcome or objective?

    Students will engage in a rigorous and interactive learning environment which values prior experience and promotes engagement and the attainment of advanced nursing education for realistic application to the profession of nursing.
