- What do you want students in your courses to learn? What is the learning outcome or objective? - I want them to remember that science is fantastic. These courses are an opportunity to discover the answers to all those questions we've been asking since we were little kids.
- Why did you start teaching? - I love learning and sharing what I learn with others.
- What advice would you give to those considering this online program? - Online courses require students to be independent learners who are self-motivated. Students need to set a regular time for weekly work and be able to understand what they read. It's important that they stay connected to their faculty and reach out when they need help.
- Tell us something interesting about yourself that your students may not know about you. - I learned to paint with Bob Ross, fly RC planes at Flite Fest, and have been in both of the Blink parades with light-up costumes I designed. Also, I am a beekeeper with four hives.
