  • What advice would you give to those considering the online MAEd Teacher as Leader – C&I program?

When you are considering graduate programs in education, choose one that is most likely to help you become a better teacher, not just give you a degree. This one will do both.

  • What do you want students in your courses to learn?

Curriculum is an ongoing endeavor that encompasses the content we teach, the instructional activities we use, and the ways we assess understanding relative to the particular students we teach. Teachers’ judgment and active decision-making are essential to making curriculum relevant and accessible for their particular students.

  • Why did you start teaching?

I got into teaching because it was a job I could get my head around (I didn't know what I would do with a degree in political science, for example). I stayed in teaching because I love the enduring challenge of trying to get it right.
