Which online degree program(s) do you teach?
- Why did you start teaching? - Education and nursing are my passions. I want to be able to help prepare the next generation of nurses and nursing educators so the profession is able to continue growing. 
- What advice would you give to those considering this online program? - Personal organization and drive are very important, but they also have to find ways to connect with the faculty, students, and preceptors/mentors to augment the textbooks and online assignments. 
- What qualities make someone particularly successful in the field in which you teach? - Compassion, passion for quality, passion to teach others. 
- What do you think is the biggest challenge that people in the profession face today? - Time constraints and competing priorities for the time and energy available. 
- What is the one book you think everyone should read? - Dealing with People You Can’t Stand: How to Bring Out the Best in People at Their Worst by Rick Kirschner. 
- Tell us something interesting about yourself that your students might not know about you: - I used to ride and train horses including barrel racing. 
- What do you want students in your courses to learn? What is the learning outcome or objective? - In the Capstone course, I want them to synthesize previous learning and resources into an application-level project.
